b) If the appliance has not been used in a long time, it is advised to drain the appliance, especially in areas with freezing temperatures.
c) Condensate Tube: Check that the condensate tube is not obstructed.
d) If the appliance is not heating properly or there is no vapour release, shut off the electricity and notify your installer. The error code table can help to make an initial assessment
of the problem.
Maintenance by a qualifi ed person:
a) Cleaning: Drain the appliance, open the side fl ange, and remove the scale sludge. Do not scrape or chip at the scale deposited on the casing, as this may damage the lining.
Remember to change the gasket and refi t the fl ange. Check for water leaks after the fi rst heating.
b) Appliance with magnesium anode: Change every two (2) years or once its diameter is less than 10 mm.
c) Changing a direct heating element or the anode requires the water heater to be drained and its seal to be changed. Switch off the power and cold water and open the hot water
taps before carrying out these operations. Next, drain the appliance using the safety device (fi g. 9 and 10). Refi t the heating element and tighten the screws gently (opposite screws
in sequence).
Check for leaks the next day and tighten if necessary.
d) Check the various connections and grounding.
e) Cleaning the air fi lter: It is recommended to inspect and clean the air fi lter every year. In highly polluted areas, this maintenance may be needed more frequently.
Unscrew the screw. Turn the top
cover counter-clockwise
f) Cleaning the evaporator and ventilator every year. If these components are clogged, this may reduce performance. Remove the top screw from the cap and twist it. Remove the
back cover and clean it using a soft-bristle scrubbing brush to avoid damaging the vanes.
g) Condensate Tube: Check that the condensate tube is not obstructed.
REPLACEABLE PARTS: The thermostats, seals, heating element, light indicator, magnesium anode, connection cable and switch, the evaporator, compressor, display, plastic covers,
and ventilator. The guarantee requires genuine manufacturer parts to be used.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's after sales service, or similarly qualifi ed individuals in order to avoid danger.
ADVICE TO THE USER. For water with calcium ( TH ) content > 20°f, it is recommended that the water be treated. If a softener is present, the hardness of the water must remain
above 15°f. If the appliance has not been used for a long period of time and also in winter, drain it. Follow the start-up procedure. Remember to fi ll the device with water. Otherwise,
you may damage the appliance and void the warranty.

8) NORMAL OPERATION

AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING OPERATION :
In ECO and AUTO mode: During cold periods, the evaporator may frost over. If this happens, the system automatically triggers the defrost mechanism for 3-10 minutes. The fan
motor operates at a high speed. While this happens, you may notice a reduced production of hot water.
When switching on and immediately after a restart, the appliance starts up only after 3 minutes.
Temperature indicated: When the system stops, the temperature decreases, which is normal. When it decreases, the system automatically restarts. During heating, the indicated
temperature may increase or decrease, depending on the exchanges and natural homogenisation in the tank. When the set temperature is reached, the heating stops.
WARNING: Depending on the use of the product, you may notice a difference between the desired temperature and the set temperatures or the output temperature. This is normal.
