Adjustment steps
(1) Remove the intake silencer 1.
(2) Turn the throttle stop screw 2 until it
dose not touch the stopper.
(3) Turn the screws 3 clockwise for all of
the cylinders.
(4) Connect the test harness (3-pin) as
shown.

(5) Connect the digital tester probes to the
test harness (3-pin) as shown.
(6) Turn the engine start switch on.
(7) Loosen the screws 4.
(8) Adjust the position of the throttle posi-
tion sensor until the specified output
voltage is obtained.

voltage (pink (P) – orange (O))
(9) Tighten the screws 4.
(10) Turn the screws 3 counterclockwise
for all of the cylinders.
(11) Install the intake silencer 1.
(12) Start the engine.
(13) Tighten the throttle stop screw 2
when the engine is idling, and then
adjust the output voltage of the throt-
tle position sensor to specification.

NOTE:
Even if idle speed is out of specification, the
output voltage of the throttle position sen-
sor is correct.
