Magic eye with IR with coaxial lead

DESCRIPTION:

Magic eye Digital Link will allow control of your SKY Digital satellite receiver whilst viewing
in other rooms around the home. This unit is compatible with UK digital satellite receivers
with an output marked RF-OUT2 that provides a second TV output together with a 9V DC
supply.

INSTALLATION:

Use only good quality cable for installation and avoid sharp bends or install near mains
cable. For installation together with amplifier, splitter or isolated outlet plate please refer
back to dealer for advice.
1.
Unplug both TV and Decoder from the mains.
2.
Plug the Magic eye's coaxial lead into the aerial socket of the TV.
3.
Connect Decoder's RF2 outlet to Magic eye's input socket using male to male IEC
connector Coaxial cable.
4.
Plug in the mains for both TV and Decoder, switch both devices on.

  • Page 2 Red light on the Magic eye should be on, place the IR receiver where it will be seen by the remote. (Usually on top or by side of the TV). You Magic eye is ready to use. Note: If Magic eye is not in function at the end of the installation, please refer to Satellite Decoder manual on how to activate RF2 output.
