E1 PRI Protocol Types (EUROPE AND MOST COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE USA & CANADA)
For the PRI/E1 Interfaces (International version, Telos Part #'s 2091-00015 and
2091-00016) you will have the following options:
For each Protocol Type, the Variant type and Switch type appear in the
appropriate boxes. Generally these can be ignored.
In rare cases, none of the predefined Protocol Types is correct for a given
installation. In this case, you should contact the Telco and find out the name or
type of switch used to provide your ISDN PRI service. You should also
determine what protocol variant is being used for the PRI circuit. You can then
create your own Protocol Type as follows:
IMPORTANT!
Protocols other than shown in the Specification page and Appendix 5 are not
supported and have not been tested. Telos offers support only for those protocols
w
shown on the Specifications page and Appendix 5.
