The Telco Trunk Connection requires two pairs of Category 3 (Cat. 3) or greater
cable. We recommend Category 5 cable. An 8-position/8-pin miniature modular (RJ-
45 style) jack is required at the Hub end.
If, as is usually the case, the NCTE also uses this jack all that is needed is a 2-pair
twisted pair cable wired to the TIA/EIA-568-A T568A or T568B standard.
