3.6.2 Repair procedures

To remove the high pressure switch
To install the high pressure switch

Yes
No
Prerequisite: Stop the unit operation via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Remove the required plate work, see
Prerequisite: Recuperate the refrigerant from the refrigerant circuit, see

1 If needed, remove any parts to create more space for the removal of the high
pressure switch.
2 Remove the compressor insulation, see
3 Disconnect the Faston connectors from the high pressure switch.

4 Cut the high pressure switch pipe using a pipe cutter.
5 Remove the high pressure switch from the unit.
6 Supply nitrogen to the refrigerant circuit. The nitrogen pressure MUST NOT
exceed 0.02 MPa.
7 Heat the end of the high pressure switch pipe using an oxygen acetylene torch
and remove the high pressure switch pipe end.
8 Stop the nitrogen supply when the piping has cooled down.
9 To install the high pressure switch, see
1 Install the high pressure switch in the correct location.
Then
High pressure switch is OK. Return to
the troubleshooting of the specific error
and continue with the next procedure.
