3-3. Pan/Tilt Trouble

Is the initial operation (pan/tilt)
performed when the power is
turned on?
No
Check the defective portion.
Neither pan nor tilt operates.
Is a 24 VDC power supply
input to pin 2 of CN103 on the
MD-151 board?
Yes
Are the following power
supplies on the MD-151 board
output correctly?
16 VDC, 5 VDC, 3.3 VDC
Yes
Failure of the microcontroller
(IC301) on the MD-151 board or the
peripheral circuit. Replace the
defective parts or MD-151 board.
(Refer to Section 1-4-12.)

Yes Is it possible to control pan/tilt
after the initial operation?
No
Go to "3-5. Network Trouble".
Tilt does not operate. (Refer to Section 3-3-1.)
Pan does not operate. (Refer to Section 3-3-2.)
Is a 24 VDC power supply
No
input to pin 3 of CN103 on the
SY-416 board?
No
Is a 24 VDC power supply
input to pin 3 of CN1004 on the
PS-858 board?
No
Is a voltage of 3.3 V input from
the SY-416 board to pin 8 of
CN1004 on the PS-858 board?
No
Replace the SY-416 board.
(Refer to Section 1-4-6.)
Failure of IC201, IC203 or IC206
No
on the MD-151 board, or the
peripheral circuit

Normal operation
Check the connection between

CN101 on the SY-416 board and
CN103 on the MD-151 board.
Check the connection between
