Audio IN block
The analog audio signal input from an external microphone is amplified and converted from analog to digital
by audio AMP conversion and input to SoC, where the obtained signal is compressed (using CODEC). The
compressed signal is packetized using IC2, sent to Ethernet PHYIC, and transferred via a network.
Audio OUT block
The audio codec signal distributed via a network is demodulated to baseband data using SoC, converted
from digital to analog and amplified by audio AMP conversion, and output from CN105.
Network control
SoC incorporates the MAC layer of a network. A physical layer (PHY) communicates with MAC of SoC
and distributes a network signal to the network. The physical layer is connected with the network via a
pulse transformer.
HPoE power separation block
Power is input to a data communication line with the DC power superimposed on an SY-416 board when
it is fed from a LAN connector. DC power and a data signal are separated on the SY-416 board. The
separated DC power is output from CN104 and input to a PS-858 board.
Analog video output block
The 1080P or 720P video signal input to SoC is resized in IC.
The resized signal is generated as interlaced color-difference signals Y, R-Y, and B-Y, output from SoC,
and input to a video encoder.
In the video encoder, the Y signal is converted from digital to analog, and a chroma modulation signal and
sync signal are added and output from IC702 as an NTSC or PAL signal.
RTC
A clock function (date/month) is realized using RTC (Real Time Clock). This RTC is backed up using a
2
super capacitor. The clock data of RTC can be read and written from SoC using an I
C bus.
Reset circuit
A supply voltage of 3.3 V is detected using a reset circuit and a power ON reset signal is output to CPU.
A system can be restarted from SoC using an I/O connector.
Factory-setting switch
The reset switch (S802) on a TM-61 board is used to return a system to the factory-setting state.
The setting state of S802 is input to IC601 through pin 24 of CN105 when the power of this unit is turned
on with S802 set to ON. An internal parameter is then set to the factory-setting state. After that, S802
must be returned to the ordinary position (OFF).
Sensor input
A sensor input circuit is connected to an extended I/O connector through the input block on an SY-416
board. (4 ports)
2
SoC reads the input state of a sensor connected to the extended I/O connected through an I
C bus.
Alarm output
An alarm output circuit controls two relays on an SY-416 board by output of an extended I/O connector.
2
SoC controls the extended I/O connector through an I
C bus and turns on and off the relays. As a result,
an external connector is turned on when the relays are turned on. This enables the operation of equipment
connected to the external connector.
