11.1 Disassembly of actuator
from ball valve body
DANGER
Do not open the actuator!
Severe injury or death!

Manufacturer's warranty will be voided.
®
1. Depressurize control medium.
2. Remove the control medium line(s) 1
from the actuator.
3. Unscrew the hexagon screws 5.
4. Do not lose the washers 4.
5. Remove actuator 2 from ball valve body 3.

Ball valve disassembly

1. Use appropriate protective gear as
specified in plant operator's guidelines.
2. Shut off plant or plant component.
3. Secure against recommissioning.
4. Depressurize the plant or plant
component.
5. Loosen nuts 1 completely.
6. Remove bolts 3.
7. Remove ball valve 2.
Important:
After disassembly, clean all parts
of contamination (do not damage
parts). Check parts for potential
damage, replace if necessary (only
use genuine parts from GEMÜ).
