11.2 Connection dew point sensors DP109 series

DP109
The digital data transmission between BDL and the DP109
dew point sensor is implemented via the SDI bus line.
Alternatively, the user can use the DP109 as a 4 – 20 mA
analog sensor in 2-wire technology.
BDL with an external transmission
For the transmission of the 4 - 20 mA current signal to an ex-
ternal display, PLC, or central control system, please open
jumper pin 4 (analog IN) to support pin 9 (ext. display), and
integrate the external display.
The electric circuit must be closed in any case.
SD23
The data transmission between BDL and the SD23 pressure
dew point transmitter is implemented via the RS485 interface.
Subsequent to the connection of the SD23, the
device needs to be parameterized for proper func-
tioning. For further information, please refer to
Chapter 14.2.2.
