Installing/Removing the
PSR6000-ACV
Follow the procedures shown in
remove the power module.

Preparations

Before installing the power module, you need to prepare an
ESD-preventive wrist strap and a No. 1 Phillips screwdriver.

Installing the Power Module

Follow these steps to install the power module:
1. Put on an ESD-preventive wrist strap and make sure it has a
good skin contact and is well grounded.
2. Supporting the bottom of the power module with one hand and
holding the handle with the other hand, slowly push the power
module along the guide rails into the chassis until it well touches
the interface on the backplane of the chassis.
3. Fasten the captive screws with a No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to fix
the power module to the chassis of the switch.
