Introduction The PSR6000-ACV is a built-in power module with AC input and DC output. It provides the device with both system power and PoE power, which can be controlled through separate switches. Table 1 Features of the PSR6000-ACV Item Description...
Callout (5) is the system power input socket (SYS IN); • Callout (8) is the PoE power input sockets (PoE1, PoE2, and PoE3). The PSR6000-ACV is designed with two switches, of which, • Callout 6 is used to control the output of the entire power supply system;...

The PoE power switch is on and PoE input is available on at least one of the three PoE sockets. PoE output power of the PSR6000-ACV varies with number of PoE power input lines. You can add or remove lines of PoE power supplies as needed.
Technical Specifications Table 2 Technical specifications Item Description 100 VAC to 240 VAC; Rated voltage range 50 Hz or 60 Hz Maximum input current per line 16 A Maximum output current 117 A Maximum PoE output current 100 A 1150 W (110 VAC) Max system power output 1400 W (220 VAC) 1200 W (110 VAC)
LEDs Each PSR6000-ACV provides eight red/green bi-color LEDs. Table 3 describes the LEDs of the power module. Table 3 Description of the LEDs State Description No system power input is present. System power Green The system power input is normal.

CAUTION: • The power module provides PoE power output only if the system power output is normal. • It would be normal that the power LED remains on for a period of time after you turn off the power switch. •...
Installing/Removing the PSR6000-ACV Follow the procedures shown in Figure 2 Figure 3 to install or remove the power module. Figure 2 Flow chart for installing the power module Turn on the Connect the Install the power switch power cable power module...
Figure 4 Install the power module CAUTION: • Avoid excessive force when inserting the power module into the chassis. • To protect the interfaces of the power module and the backplane, pull out the power module and then insert it again in the case of any misalignment.
Supporting the bottom of the power module with one hand and holding the handle with the other hand, slowly pull the power module out along the guide rails. CAUTION: The power module is heavy. Pull the power module out slowly with one hand holding its handle and the other hand supporting its bottom.
Figure Connecting the Power Cord Connect the power cord to the power module after installing the cable retention clip on the connector. The procedures for connecting power cords to the four power input sockets on the PSR6000-ACV are the same.
Page 15
Figure 6 Connect an AC power cord Follow these steps to connect the power cord: Plug the power connector in the power socket of the PSR6000-ACV. The holes on the cable retention clip and the power module should be aligned. NOTE:...
Page 16
Connect the other end of the power cord to the AC power input. CAUTION: Since typically 10 A busbars are available in the equipment room but the PSR6000-ACV power module requires a 16 A power cable (AC), you need to use a 16 A busbar.
