Replacing the battery pack

When the capacity of the battery pack has declined to the point at which only a few measurements
can be performed before the battery must be charged again, the battery pack must be replaced.
Under normal conditions, a battery can undergo approximately 500 charge/discharge cycles.
Method:
1
Loosen the two screws (pos. 16) using the 4x100 socket screw key from the service set.
2
Remove the battery pack (pos. 11).
3
If necessary, clean and dry the back of the measuring instrument.
4
Place the new battery pack upright in the measuring instrument. Ensure that the connector
is in the right place. Use the two screws (pos. 15) to fasten the battery pack. Tighten the
screws finger-tight.
5
Charge the battery pack if necessary (see section 6.6).
Attention!

The maximum number of
2
exposures has been
reached and the maximum
oxygen sensor deviation at
the zero point is 5 ppb.
During calibration, the set
oxygen level was not yet
stable.
An attempt is being made
to calibrate the sensor at an
oxygen concentration level
that is in excess of its
measurement range
The signal emitted by the
oxygen sensor is instable
The measured oxygen
content is too high or too
low
The old battery pack must be sent to the appropriate authority for
recycling; it can also be returned to Haffmans B.V. (Also see the
text on the battery pack.)

Calibrate or replace oxygen sensor.
Recalibrate this calibration point; this time
make sure the oxygen value is stable
before performing the calibration.
Use a calibration gas that is within the
measurement range of the oxygen
sensor.
Contact your local representative or
Haffmans B.V.
Check whether you are measuring within
the sensor's measurement range. If so,
recalibrate the oxygen sensor (see
chapter 7.4)
