Activate the ID system for the "User-ID" or the "Place-ID" in the following manner:
1. Select "Place ID" or "User ID" with the arrow buttons and press "Enter".
The ID is set to "Absent".
2. Press one of the arrow buttons.
The ID is set to "Present".
3. Press "Enter".
The ID is now switched on and you return to the "ID system/password" menu.
After activating an ID you will be asked to identify yourself before each measurement. To do so,
hold the key against the front of the ID identification point (see 6.1).
There is also the possibility to ignore an activated ID. This offers you the opportunity to either
use an ID if available or to do a measurement without identification. You will still be requested to
enter the ID when starting the measurement. If you identify with an ID the ID data will be saved
together with the measurement result in the logbook of the instrument. By pressing the "Enter"
button you will also be able to start a measurement without using an ID key.
You activate the "ID ignore" option as follows:
1. Use the arrow buttons to select the ID system/password submenu and press "Enter".
2. Use the arrow buttons to select the ID Ignore option and press "Enter".
The setting of the option "Ignore ID" is now "NO".
3. Press either of the arrow buttons once.
The setting of the option "Ignore ID" is now "YES".
4. Press "Enter".
The "ID-ignore" option is now switched on.
5. Press the Down arrow button to select the main menu and press "Enter".
You are now back in the main menu.

5.7.2 Password

The DGM has two settings at the user level:
"Master User: Present":
(DEFAULT setting)
"Master User: Absent":
To switch the "Master User" setting (from "Present" to "Absent" or vice versa), you must enter a
password (the default password is 0000).
If the "Master User" setting is set to "Present", the extra menu option "Password" is shown with
a masked password (****).
If you wish to change the password, use the arrow buttons to select the "Password" menu and
press "Enter".
c-DGM/i-DGM
All settings in the DGM can be changed without
limitation (e.g. you can calibrate the instrument or you
can change the CO
2
You can only select the pre-defined products, change
the time and the display contrast, and delete the last
measurement. You can view all the other menus, but
you cannot change them.
