Inspection template
An inspection template can be used to measure the headspace volume separately for every
sample. The liquid volume can then be read on it. If the package volume is known, the
headspace volume can also be calculated in this way. However, this method only works for
bottles.
6.2.5.2 *Performing measurement
Ensure that the correct product has been selected in the c-DGM. An ISD sampling device is
used to pass liquid from a closed product package through the c-DGM (see ISD manual for
method). As soon as the handle of the c-DGM is closed, the display will switch on as clearly
shown in the picture below:
