1.4 First Installation
Once the connection of the receiver (par.1.2.2), The receiver will start automatically. If that does not happen, turn on the
device using the special key q of the remote control. You will then see a screen a simple wizard for initial installation.
NOTE
The installation wizard is presented, as well as in the first phase of installation, also after a reset of the receiver (par.
3.6.1).
Proceed according to the following guidelines:
Country
Set the installation country using the arrow keys ◄ ► and continue pressing the arrow key ▼.
WARNING
The incorrect setting of the Nation may result in a partial or even a failure to identify and store TV channels.
Language
Select the OSD language displayed on-screen menu (On Screen Display - OSD) with the arrow keys ◄ ►. Then go to the
next parameter by pressing the arrow key ▼.
Resolution
Choose the setting of the video output resolution audio-video digital HDMI
Aspect Mode
Choose the format of the screen / TV connected to the receiver.
LCN
Choose to enable automatic sorting of the channels (LCN = on) or disable it (LCN = Off), refer to paragraph 2.8.
New PIN-Code
Define a numeric six-digit password, also called Personal Identification Number (PIN), for the Parental Control (see par.
3.1.3). First, enter the PIN code selected in the New Password field, and then reinsert it in Confirm PIN-Code to confirm
it. Finally, press the arrow key ▼ and then OK to proceed with the channel search.
Channel Search
Wait until the automatic channel search, during which the receiver will store the channels and automatically assign them
a position in the list, according to the logic number (LCN) requested by the broadcasters of the same channels. In the case
in which two or more channels require the same number of position, the receiver will autonomously automatic allocation
of the position in the channel list in conflict, which can be varied, however, at a later time by the user via the Channel
Manager menu.
Channel Vision
After completing the above steps and then the installation, you can immediately enjoy the terrestrial digital channels, as
well as USB media player.
NOTES AND WARNINGS
Some channels may not be visible because they are subject to coding, or not compatible with this receiver.

During the life of the receiver, the channel might become obsolete or change the transmission parameters. It is

therefore recommended to update or reinstall the channel list periodically (par.3.2).
