2 Section to use simplified
WARNING
Before reading this chapter you should have read the previous chapter.
To simplify the use of the receiver and manage the many digital channels, there are some windows and accessible menu
with the push of a single button remote control (par. 1.3.2). They are designed for frequent use and their functions are
indispensable for rapid interaction with the receiver.
For the advanced use of the apparatus, settings and customizations, refer instead to Chapter3.
2.1 Information Channel Banner
Whenever you change the channel or press the INFO button appears at the bottom on the screen for a few seconds the
information banner, also called the channel info banner on the channel tuned. The information that may be present in such
banners are:

The number of the channel.
2.
The channel name.
3.
The current date and time.
4.
Times and titles of the current and next program.
Also, when the channel info banner is active, pressing the INFO button, you will see detailed information about the current
and next program.
NOTE
If the station does not transmit some of this information, they will not be displayed on the channel banner.
2.2 Quick selection of TV / Radio channels
To change the channel, do one of the following ways:
Press the CH +/- buttons on the remote control to move to the next / previous channel.
Type directly the desired channel number using the numeric keys 0 to 9 on the remote control.
Alternatively, for a practical way to manage the large number of TV and radio channels that digital terrestrial broadcasting
offers, use the quick channel list available during the TV viewing experience by pressing the OK button on the remote
control, then:
Press the ▼ / ▲ buttons to scroll through the list of a channel at a time.
Press the 7 / 8 to quickly scroll the list one page at a time.
Press the OK button on the selected channel to tune it.
Press the ◄ / ► buttons to display the channel list TV / Radio / FAV
Use the GREEN button to search by name, Red to filter the channels according to the type, Blue to filter channels
by the first letter of the name

2.3 Electronic Program Guide (EPG)
Some digital TV channels broadcast, in addition to the audio-video data of the current program, including information about
the current program and, in some cases, even daily.
To access the EPG, press the EPG button on the remote, then:
With the ▲ / ▼ select a channel.
With the Yellow button to move between "TV" windows and the list of events.
With the ▲ / ▼ keys to move among the events planned.
At an event, press the INFO button to view any additional information about it.
Use the EXIT button to exit the EPG.
From this menu using OK (Book), you can program a vision timer (par. 2.7).
WARNING
The EPG information is optional data transmitted by television broadcasters. Therefore, failure to display all or some
information does not constitute a receiver malfunction.
2.4 Teletext function
If the displayed channel is equipped with teletext data:
Use the TTX button to start it.
Use the number keys 0 to 9 to enter a page number, the ◄ / ► arrow keys to select any sub-page and the colored
keys to go to the pages indicated / highlighted in the video.
Press the TTX or EXIT button to exit.
