Prerequisites
1. Remove the
back
cover.
2. Remove the stand.
3. Remove the
inner
frame.
4. Remove the
system-board
5. Remove the
I/O
bracket.
6. Remove the
I/O
board.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the touch-screen cable (TOUCH1) from the system board.
2. Disconnect the display-converter cable (CONVERTER) from the display assembly through its slot on the middle frame.
3. Remove the 11 screws (M3x5) that secure the middle frame to the display assembly.
4. Lift the middle frame and hold in place at an angle off the display assembly.
5. Push the touch-screen cable (TOUCH1) and the display-panel cable (EDPCN1) through the slots on the middle frame.
6. Lift the middle frame off the display assembly.
