b) Installing the LED strip
• The LED strip can be mounted on suitable surfaces, such as furniture or similar objects,
using the adhesive tape located on the underside.
The LED strip must be mounted in such a way that it is not exposed to mechanical
stress. It must not be mounted in such a way that someone can step on it as this
will cause damage.
• Carefully clean the surface onto which you want to mount the LED strip of all dust, dirt and
grease before mounting; otherwise the adhesive tape will come off the surface.
• Remove part of the protective strip and stick the LED strip onto the mounting surface one
section at a time. Do not apply force when pressing down.
The LED strip can be cut at the marked points. The connectors provided can be
used to restore the electrical connection between the individual LED strip sec-
tions.
c) Connecting the LED strip to the control unit
• Connect the 4-pin connector of the LED strip to the corresponding 4-pin socket of the
control unit using one of the provided 4-pin plug connectors.
Make sure that the labels on the connections match (the arrow symbol and "+"
on the socket of the control unit must point to the label "+" on the LED strip).
• The plug connection can be protected from unintentional disconnection by using a strip
of adhesive tape.
d) Connecting the wall plug transformer
• Connect the round low voltage plug of the wall plug transformer to the corresponding
round socket on the control unit.
• Plug the power adapter into a proper mains outlet of the public mains.
e) Inserting the battery into the IR remote control
• Open the battery compartment of the IR remote control and insert a battery of type
"CR2025", paying attention to the correct polarity (pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
Close the battery compartment again.
The manufacturer may have supplied batteries in the device. In this case, remove
any plastic protective strip that may be present.
• The battery needs replacing if the range of the IR remote control decreases or if the
control unit no longer responds to the remote control.

Maintenance and cleaning
• Apart from the occasional battery change for the IR remote control, the product is main-
tenance-free.
The LED bulbs used are permanently installed; they cannot be replaced.
• Before you clean the product, disconnect it from the mains voltage. Pull the power adapt-
er from the mains socket.
• The product exterior should be cleaned only with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these can dam-
age the housing (discolouration) or impair operation.

batteries; disposal in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled
with this symbol to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is prohibited. The
designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead.
Used batteries, rechargeable batteries and coin cells can be returned to collection points
