Connecting the LED overhead lamp
• Connect the mains cable using the 3-pole terminal strip in the
base plate (brown cable = L/phase, blue cable = N/neutral, yel-
low/green cable = PE/earth wire/earthing symbol).
• Your should insert individual leads into the terminal strip until
they engage and cannot be pulled out.
Make sure only the minimum required length of the
cable is stripped; otherwise it could cause a short cir-
cuit.
• Replace the milk coloured round cover that was removed at
the beginning onto the base plate and lock it by turning a bit
rightward clockwise.
• Switch on the mains voltage and make sure that the LED ceiling light is functioning.
If the LED ceiling light does not light up, switch off the mains voltage immediately (take
out the fuse or switch off automatic cut-out, switch off the Ground Fault Circuit Inter-
rupter).
Then check the connection for the LED overhead light.
In case of doubt, contact a professional (e.g., an electrician)!

Operation

Operation via the light switch
• It is quite normal to switch the LED overhead light on and off by the light switch. When it is
switched on for the first time it lights up in neutral white mode.
• When switched off, the last setting of the light colour and brightness are saved and will apply
when switched on next time.
Please note that the lamp has to be switched off for at least 2 seconds.
• The LED lamp has 3 different preset light modes. You can switch between them by quick switch-
ing it off and on (max. 2 seconds). The sequence is as follows: neutral white; warm white; night
light.
Operation via the App
• First switch on the LED overhead light and make sure that WLAN of your router is enabled.
• Open the respective App Store on your smartphone or tablet. For Android
"Google Play-Store;" if you are using an iPhone or iPad, open the "App-Store" on your device.
• Search for the App "ecoCloud" of the producer "Dalen" and install it.
• As soon as the Installation is complete, start the App. At that, your smartphone or tablet should
be logged in to the same WLAN, to which you wish to log in the lamp.
• After first start you will only see a black screen, in upper part of which a plus and a gearwheel
icon are indicated.
• To log in your LED lamp to your WLAN tap on the plus sign.
• Your WLAN's name and IP address of the router will be displayed. Enter the password for your
WLAN network in the relevant field and tap the blue button to save.
• After a short delay, the App should revert to the start page and display a button of the lamp.
Otherwise repeat the procedure.
• To establish connection with and/or activate the LED lamp, just keep the button pressed and
move it downwards.
• If you want to process or delete the saved lamp, tap for about 2 seconds the relevant button until
a green arrow appears. Then you can delete (to recycle bin) or process (tool symbol) the lamp.
• To handle LED overhead light tap the button. On the operating page you can select various
presets or set yourself desired light colour and brightness. If the slide switch above in the top
centre of the screen has grey background, slide it first rightward. Then you can handle the lamp.
To access the advanced settings, tap the bottom grey area.
