Changing the batteries

If there is a noticeable drop in the lamp's brightness, replace the rechargeable batteries with batteries of the
same type and capacity (see "Technical data" for details).

• Before using the outdoor wall lamp, remove the base by
turning it in an clockwise direction (see diagram).
• Turn on the switch inside the housing (0 = Off, 1 = On).
• Replace the base and turn it anticlockwise to secure it in
place.
• When you have finished using the wall lamp, follow the steps
above to remove the base, and then turn off the switch.
• The twilight switch turns the lamp on and off when the
ambient brightness is lower/higher than the trigger value.
• If the IR sensor detects movement when the lamp is
switched on, the brightness automatically increases to the
maximum level.
• The brightness returns to normal if no movement is detected
for 40 seconds (± 5 seconds).
• Unscrew the two Phillips screws on the sides.
• Pull the lamp off the wall mounting clamp.
• Unscrew the base in an anticlockwise direction (see
diagram).
• Remove the two Phillips screws that secure the bulb
holder in place.
• Remove the bulb holder.
• Remove all three batteries from the battery compartment.
• Insert three identical rechargeable batteries into the
battery compartment, paying attention to the polarity
markings (plus/+ and minus/-).
• Place the bulb holder back into the lamp.
• Tighten the two Phillips screws to secure the bulb holder
in place.
• Replace the base and turn it clockwise to secure it in
place (see diagram).
• Slide the lamp back onto the wall mounting clamp. Ensure
that the screw holes are aligned correctly.
• Replace the two Phillips screws on the side of the lamp.

Care and cleaning

• This product does not require maintenance apart from changing the rechargeable batteries.
• Never point a garden hose or pressure washer at the product (e.g. for cleaning).
• Before cleaning the lamp, turn it off and remove the batteries.
• Keep the four drainage holes on the inside of the housing (remove the outer wall light lower part first) and
the PIR sensor from dust and other dirt.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
casing or cause the product to malfunction.
• Use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the outside of the housing.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household waste.
Always dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted rechargeable batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law to return all used rechargeable batteries. They must not
be placed in household waste!
Rechargeable batteries that contain hazardous substances are labelled with this symbol to
indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for heavy metals in
batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (indicated on rechargeable batteries,
e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used rechargeable batteries can be returned to local collection points, our stores or battery retailers.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Suggested solution
Move the switch to the "On" position.
Consider the recent weather conditions. Was
there sufficient sunlight? Wait for better weather
conditions and charge the lamp again.
Check where the lamp is mounted. Install the
outdoor wall lamp in a well-lit location without
shade.
Keep the solar cell clean and dry. If the surface of
the solar cell is dirty, this reduces the amount of
electricity it produces.
Check if the twilight switch is working by placing
the lamp in a dark location (ensure that the battery
is charged). Installing the outdoor wall lamp near
a bright source of light (e.g. a street lamp) may
prevent the twilight switch from turning on.
