6.23 Alert Settings

(MAIN MENU → Settings → Volume Control)
Beep Alert Count
The unit will beep when it encounters
WayPoints,
Points Of Interest,
GoTo Points or
Routes.
MapCard is inserted
Screenshot is captured.
You are able to customize how many beeps sound
in these instances:by using the Rocker Pad or
Touchscreen to select Mute, 1-10. Press
centre press the rocker pad to return to
MENU.
Pressing the
Default
button restores the
factor settings for this
item.Please Note: You cannot
control the volume of the beeps.

6.24 Mapping Screen Settings.

The status bar can be hidden on the GPS map
screen when full screen mapping is turned on.

6.25 Route Rendering

(MAIN MENU → Settings → Route Rendering
This screen allows the user to edit the colour of
an active route. Using the touch screen, touch
a coloured box to edit the colour. Alternatively
highlight the option using the rockerpad and the
centre rockerpad button to select and edit the colour.
"Normal Route Colour" is the standard colour for
the whole route ahead, apart from the Hightlighted
section.
"Completed Route Colour" is the section of route
behind you that you have aleady completed.

SETTINGS
"Highlighted Route Colour" is the section of route
ahead of you which has been specially coloured
to make it easy to see your way through junctions
with over-lapping routes.
"Fading" tick box makes the Highlighted route
colour fade to the Normal route colour over the
distance specified in the boxes. Depending on
the type of your activity and your speed, you can
adjust these values to suit your preferences.
"Show Waypoints" does just that. To keep the
map de-cluttered you may like to keep this turned
off. To see more detail - keep it turned on.
