12 Cameras

Note:
The cameras of the vehicle are grouped
in different camera profiles. The names
of the camera profiles and the number
of cameras available in a profile
depend on the individual configuration
for your vehicle.
12.1 Displaying the current camera

f If necessary, call up the main menu for the
desired area (cockpit, cabin area).
f In the main menu, touch the main area of the
camera tile.
For the cockpit area, the last-selected camera
picture is displayed.
For the cabin area, "Camera Streaming
Stopped" is shown on the monitors in the cabin
area. The display shows the camera menu for
the respective camera profile.
Note:
Press the On/off button for about
3 seconds to return to the home menu.
12.2 Selecting a particular camera
picture for the cockpit area
f If necessary, call up the main menu for the
cockpit area.
f In the main menu, tap the title bar of the
camera tile.
The Camera selection menu is displayed.
f Tap the desired camera profile.
The camera picture of the first camera is shown
on the display.
If you want to switch to another camera of the
selected camera profile,
f tap the button of the desired camera.
Notes:
Press the button to return to the
f
last active camera.
f In split screen view, you can enlarge
a particular camera picture by tap-
ping that picture. Tap
to the split screen view.
12.3 Rear-view camera
Road safety
When reversing, if you only look at the
picture provided by the rear-view cam-
era, you may fail to notice other road
users or objects outside the picture
and may cause an accident.
Therefore, please always also pay
attention to your vehicle's surround-
ings.
When reversing, the use of the rear
view camera is only permitted, if a
guide provides additional assistence.
Notes:
f This function is only available if the
vehicle is equipped with a rear view
camera.

camera is automatically shown on
the display for as long as the reverse
gear is engaged.
12.3.1 Displaying the rear-view
camera picture

to return for as long as the reverse gear is
engaged.
f If necessary, call up the main menu for the
cockpit area.
f In the main menu, touch the title bar of the
camera tile.
The Camera selection menu is displayed.
f Tap Rear view.
The rear-view camera picture is displayed.
