Software update
f Prepare a USB stick: Store the software
update files on the top-level directory of a
USB stick.
Note:
You can update the software of several
system components simultaneously.
Just store the software update files for
several components on the USB stick.
f Connect the USB stick to the device.
f In the system settings, tap Software update.
Note:
If the software update stored on the
USB stick is older than the installed
software version, a corresponding
message appears and the software
update is cancelled.

If the USB stick contains software updates for
several system components, this screen
appears:

CM-G
CM-R
CM-P
f Tap the desired device on the list.
The curent and new software version and the
estimated duration of the update process is
displayed. You have the following options:
f Tap Full update to install the new software
version completely.
or:
f Where applicable, tap Quick update, to install
only updated parts of the software.
Function
View information about updates of the system devices.
Activate or deactivate Bluetooth.
f Tap Switch on/off Bluetooth to turn on/off this option.
f Tap Yes to start the update process or No to
cancel.
System installation
f Prepare a USB stick: Store the system instal-
lation files on the top-level directory of a USB
stick.
f Connect the USB stick to the device.
f In the system settings, tap System installa-
tion.
The system installation process is started. As
soon as the installation process is finished, a
corresponding message appears.

Important note:
During the update process, the system
is not available. This also applies to the
rear view camera.
