F4 Dimensioning the upstream power supply

Ensure that the upstream power supply is correctly dimensioned to guarantee the charging process of the
batteries and the correct functioning of the application. For charging the energy storage even at higher load
must be taken care of.
The input has to be supplied from a SELV or PELV power supply. In order to operate the UPS devices with com-
plete functionality, the upstream power supply has to provide at least the following sizes and use no constant
current function.
UPSI-1208IP-11U: 12 V / 10 A
UPSI-2406IP-12U: 24 V / 8 A
If less load than the maximum load is required at the output, the voltage supply can be dimensioned according
to the following tables (column 3 in each case).
