PROCEDURE FOR INSERTING

THE PRESSING PLATE
IN THE DRUM
Follow instructions with care. These operations must be
carried out with the pump at a standstill by competent,
trained personnel.
SHEARING HAZARD
Check all the fittings for connection of the va-
rious components (pump, hose, gun etc.), befo-
re using the appliance.
Avoid approaching too much to the hoist during
lifting and lowering.
Carefully follow the directions below to open the pressing plate
in the drum:

Open the air supply (M1).

Turn the control lever (M2) upward.

Using the regulator (M3), gradually increase supply pressure
to the pneumatic cylinder (M4) until lifting begins. Let the
hoist reach its maximum height.

Remove the cover from the drum by 200 litres (M5) to be
used and place it between the clamps (M6) on the plate (M8).

Check if there are dents on the drum (M5), as
these could cause the pressing plate (M7) to
lock during descent.
