A Typical Sample Analysis
A step by step procedure and what are the important steps in the data acquisition.
Starting a measurement
Load a sample file. The respective instrument settings are automatically loaded.
Load a CFG-script DNA-DAPI for analysis of DAPI-stained samples or DNA-PI for
analysis of Propidium Iodide stained samples or any customized own configuration file.
Saved instrument settings will be loaded. In case you want to continue with the same
instrument set-up as before you can skip this action as the instrument will automatically
load the last used system configuration.
Perform PRIME process
Fill a sample tube with 1.2 ml of your sample. Check the tube for eventual imperfection or
contaminants (cracks, aggregates, hair) and replace or remove resp. if necessary.
Insert the tube into the sample port, push it up until a distinct click is heard.
Press the start button. In the console window, information on the status of the
measurement is displayed. The following work is proceeding step by step.
