MODULE ARCHITECTURE 40-512

The 40-512-021 is an array of 96 single pole relays, and the 40-512-022 an array of 96 double pole relays. In the
default state all relays are open circuit. Energising a particular relay creates a signal path between its C and A
terminals. The 40-512-022 module's switching architecture is shown in its default state in the diagram below:

One sub-unit is used to control all the module's relays as shown below. Enabling a particular bit or crosspoint closes
the contacts of that relay and creates a signal path. For 2-pole versions, both poles are closed simultaneously.
