HEATING

The SMART THERMOSTAT controls 1 heating output. This output is acti-
vated when the temperature falls and reaches the set point - Heater Offset;
the heating output stops when the room temperature increases and reaches
Set Point - Heater Offset + 1°F (0,56°C). The following graphic sums up
the situation.

OFF
The user must define two start temperatures of the heating output: one
start temperature is set in the main controller; another is set in the thermo-
stat controller. Ideally, the heater's start temperature should be set to a
higher temperature value in the main controller so that the controller acti-
vates the output first. This way, when the room temperature falls and the
thermostat controller reaches the start temperature of that same output,
the thermostat controller only makes sure the output is really running. If
the heating output is not running at that moment due to a failure of the
main controller, the SMART THERMOSTAT will activate the heater.
