VENTILATION

The SMART THERMOSTAT controls 3 fan outputs which are activated
when the room temperature reaches their start temperature (start tem-
perature = set point + fan offset); they stop running when the room
temperature decreases of 1°F (0,56°C) below their respective start tem-
perature. The following graphic sums up the situation.

STAGE OFF
For each fan output, the user must define two start temperatures: one
start temperature is set in the main temperature controller; another is set
in the thermostat controller. Ideally, the start temperature of a given fan
output should be set to a lower temperature value in the main controller
so that the temperature controller activates the output first. This way,
when thermostat controller reaches the start temperature of that output,
it only makes sure the output is really running. If the fan output is not
running at that moment due to a failure of the main controller, the SMART
THERMOSTAT will activate the fans.
