HDMI setup

HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a standard for transmission of video and audio from source to
playback device. The connection exchanges information as to available types of data against what the
playback devices will accept.
CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is an HDMI feature designed to allow commands to be sent from one
product to another – as examples: allowing the player to turn on the television or to control the volume
setting of the TDAI-1120 by using the remote control of the TV.
In all setups the level of CEC implementation on the television sets the limits of the possible integration.
Functions may be reduced to support your own products and may not include full support of CEC codes.
Enable CEC will activate the function and allow your TV to connect to the TDAI-1120.
Note: You need to set Standby level(General Setup) to Network standby for CEC to
function. As default, CEC is not active on HDMI to comply with regulations requiring a
very low standby power. Turning it on will raise standby power to 1.2W
CEC power will allow for the TDAI-1120 to automatically switch on from standby, when the television or
HDMI connected source is turned on.
CEC audio system allows for the television to be used as speakers for sources connected to the TDAI-1120.
Note: Menus only appear if CEC is enabled.
