DUBBING A TAPE
SETTING THE CLOCK

Note that recording is done on only one side of the tape.
Use Type I (normal) tapes only.

Press the TAPE button.
Inselrt a tape to be recorded on into deck 1 with
the side to be recorded on facing out.
Inselrt a tape to be played into deck 2 with the
side to be played facing out.
Press the I [ button then press the
button on
deck 1 to enter recording pause mode.
The 1> button is pressed simultaneously.
Press the DUBBING SPEED button to select a
dubbing speed.
HI-D(JB is displayed: Dubs at high speed.
H1-DtJB goes out: Dubs at normal speed.
Press -
on deck 2.
II on deck 1 is released and recording starts.
To stop recording, press the WA
button on deck 1.

When the AC cord is connected for the first time, the time cln
the display flashes.
Set the time as follows while the power is off.

Press the 11 SET button.
The hour flashes.
(12-hour standard)

The SET button on 'the remote control is also available
Press the +4
DOWN or -
UP button to
designate the hour.
Press the II SET button to set the hour.
The hour stops flashing and the minute starts flashing.
Press the <
DOWN or -
UP button to
designate the minute.
Press the 11 SET button to set the minute and
complete setting.
The minute stops flashing on the display and the clock
starts from 00 seconds.
To correct the current time
Press the POWER buttan to turn the unit off and press the
II SET button twice. Then, carry out steps 2 to 5 above.
To switch
to the 12/24-hcmr
standard
While the power is off, press the II SET button twice until
the clock is displayed and then press the
button.
When the display switches, carry out steps 2 to 5 above to
set the clock again.
If the clock display flashes while the power is off
This is caused by a power interruption. The current time
needs to be reset.
If power is interrupted for more than approximately
10 hours,
all settings stored in memory after purchase need to be
reset.
