VOLUME CONTROL
Press the VOLUME buttons.

The volume level is automatically
set to 21 when the power
is turned off with the volume level set to 22 or more.
SUPER T-BASS SYSTEM
The T-BASS system enhances the realism of low-frequency
sound.
Press the T-BASS button.
To cancel, press the button again.
NOTE
Low frequency sound may be distorted when the T-BASS
system is used for a disc or tape in which low frequency
sound is originally emphasized.
In this case, cancel the
T-
BASS
system.
QSOUND SYSTEM
The QSOUND system provides a rich, three dimensional
sound area.
You can enjoy a more enhanced sound.
Press the QSOUND button.
GRAPHIC EQUALIZER MODE
Press the ROCK, POP or JAZZ button.
The indicator of the selected mode lights up.
ROCK
Powerful sound emphasizing
treble and bass
POP: More presence in the vocals and midrange
JAZZ: Accented lower frequencies
for jazz-type music
To cancel the selected mode
Press the selected button again.
When using the remote control
Press the GEQ button until the desired equalizer mode is
displayed.
The equalizer mode changes to ROCK, POP, JAZZ or nc]
equalization,
cyclically.
To cancel, press the button again.
NOTE
At higher volumes, turning QSOUND on may cause sound
distortion.
In this case, turn the volume down.
