DRIVE CHAIN
Clean out any dirt accumulated in the chain case. Use a brush to spread an even coat of lubrication over the
entire length of chain.
WINDROWER TEETH
Hard surfacing applied to the wonderer teeth should be reapplied before the original hard surface material has
been worn off. Once the hard surface material is gone wear to the base metal of the teeth will be very rapid.
CX170 hard surfacing electrodes are recommended.
DRIVELINE SHIELDS
The plastic cones shielding the slip clutch and shear bolt need to be periodically/ frequently cleaned. Stop the
tractor engine, disconnect the PTO shaft and remove any debris that has accumulated inside the shield.
DRUM SPROCKET
Periodically check the torque of the spit tapered hub
b o l t s . T h e b o l t s s h o u l d b e t i g h t e n e d i n a n
alternating pattern to 29 ft.-lbs (39 Nm).
