Basic equipment and dimensions

In its basic version, the product comprises one
drive unit with docking plate and handles with
switching and brake fittings. The drive system
is available with a derailleur and hydraulic disk
brake or hub gear with integrated back-
pedalling brake and the additionally mounted
parking brake.

Service life

The service life of the product is 6 years.

Rating plate

The rating plate is located next to the docking
plate. The model, the serial number, the year
of manufacture, max. load and the towing
capacity are specified on the rating plate.
When contacting your rehabilitation specialist
dealer or PRO ACTIV with regard to your
product, please always have the serial number
and year of construction on the rating plate at
hand.

10 Start-up and handover

The product will be handed over to you ready
for use by a rehabilitation specialist dealer or a
field representative or by a product consultant
from PRO ACTIV. They will fit, if not already
done, the required fastening elements to your
wheelchair to hold the adapter and, if required,
any other accessories. The height of the
parking stand is also adjusted correctly.
Finally, you will be fully instructed in the use of
the product based on the usage instructions
included in delivery. You will be handed over a
record of training and handover certificate as
written proof. In addition, you will be handed
the usage instructions and, if necessary,
further accessories for your own use. It is
recommended that you take along an assistant
to the training so that, if required, they can
assist you later when handling the product.
During the hand-over, the record of training
(chapter 31) and the hand-over certificate
including the associated check list (chapter 32)
must be filled in. The rehabilitation specialist
dealer should send a copy of the completed
documents to PRO ACTIV for filing either as a
scanned file via e-mail, by fax or in the post.
