Select the device side in [USB controlled by]
Connected
device: The connected other device becomes the
device.
This
device: This handset becomes the device.
z Switching from [This device] to [Connected device] may not
be possible depending on the other device to be connected.
In this case, the device side is set to this handset.
y The devices for which you can select [Connected device]
to swap the device side are role swap compatible devices
(example: connection between two handsets which are
this model). Role swap compatible devices can be
swapped when connected with a commercially available
USB cable for which both plugs are Type C. In this case,
you can set the other device as the host and this handset
as the device to operate the data in the storage (handset
memory or microSD Card) of the handset from the other
device or set the handset as the host and the other device
as the device to operate the data in the storage of the
other device.

Select the usage method of the USB connection

Transfer: Transfer data between another device
compatible with MTP and the handset memory/microSD
Card.

tethering: For details on USB tethering

When use is finished, disconnect the USB cable

Use the USB cable compatible with the handset. The cable

Using a USB HUB or converter plug may prevent the equipment

from working normally.
When you transfer a great deal of data at once, the

transference may be interrupted. In this case, split the data into
several files and send them separately.
Do not remove the USB cable while exchanging data. Data may

be damaged.
