The å and Æ warning lamps appear in
the instrument cluster.

To deactivate ESP
: press and hold display

lights up red.
The å and ¤ warning lamps appear in
the instrument cluster.

When you deactivate ESP

in the I drive
program, AMG Dynamics automatically
switches to the Master level.

To activate ESP
: press and hold display

until the road in button symbol
lights up blue.
The å, Æ and ¤ warning lamps go
out.
When the ÷ symbol is shown with a red ! on

the display button, ESP
is malfunctioning.
Observe the information on warning lamps and
display messages which may be shown in the
instrument cluster.
Function of EBD
Electronic Breakforce Distribution (EBD) is char‐
acterized by the following:
Monitoring and regulating the brake pressure

on the rear wheels.
Improved driving stability when braking,

especially on bends.
Function of Active Brake Assist
Active Brake Assist consists of:
Distance warning function
R
Autonomous braking function
R
Situation-dependent braking assistance
R

Active Brake Assist can help you to minimize the
risk of a collision with vehicles, or to reduce the
effects of such a collision.
If Active Brake Assist has detected a risk of colli‐
sion, a warning tone sounds and the L warn‐
ing lamp lights up in the instrument cluster.
