    Call defaults You can customize settings to make the CaptionCall phone behave in certain ways. Turn automatic captions on or off Choose if you need captions to automatically appear with each call. 1. Touch Settings. Under DEVICE, touch Call Defaults.

    Network settings Your CaptionCall representative connects the CaptionCall phone to a network during installation. If you get a network alert, see how to reconnect on page 44. You should not change any network settings unless you have the technical knowledge required to do so.

    Troubleshooting The CaptionCall phone will show an alert if it has a problem with your network or CaptionCall account. There are three common alerts: Network Connection Error, Telephone Line Problem, and Account Error.
