1.3 Copying Data via USB
It is possible to use the MG-250HD as an external USB hard disk when you insert a hard disk into MG-250HD. You can copy data from your PC to
the built-in HDD of MG-250HD via USB. It is also possible to play media files from the hard disk on a TV set.
* When connecting to a PC, you have to connect power cable of MG-250HD.

1.3.1 Windows 98SE

First, you have to install Windows 98 Driver before connecting PC.
Find the driver Windows 98 driver CD>MediaGate MG-250HD >English>Windows 98 Driver Directory.
After finishing installation, Connect the MG-250HD to PC via USB cable, and plug in the power cable to MG-250HD.
1) After installing the Windows98 driver, connect the MG-250HD
and plug in the power cable. Then, check the driver installation
at Windows [Start > Settings>Control Panel > System >
Device Manager > Hard disk controllers > Hi-Speed USB-
IDE Bridge Controller].
2) Check 'My Computer' or 'Explorer', there should be a new
volume. You can now copy any data to this volume.
If a new volume does not appear, check if the HDD is formatted
or not, and check the HDD file system. Windows 98SE only
recgonises the FAT32 file system.
3) After copying data, remove the MG-250HD by using the
in Window's right-hand corner. If you
