    Introduction The MediaGate MG-250HD fully supports HD (High Definition) files that look exceptionally clear on a HDTV (LCDTV, Normal TV), it also has a docking station that gives you a simple cable connection to a TV or a monitor at home or in a car.

    Find the driver in Windows 98 CD>MediaGate MG-250HD > English > Windows 98 Driver Directory. After the Windows98 driver installation, connect the MG-250HD to PC via USB cable, and plug the power cable into MG-250HD, if it is required. 2) Select [Start→Program→Accessories→MS-DOS...

If you choose FAT32 system in Windows 2000/XP, one drive letter’s maximum size will be limited to 32GB. If you want to use one drive letter of 32GB more, you have to format on windows 98SE/ME.

    1.3 Copying Data via USB It is possible to use the MG-250HD as an external USB hard disk when you insert a hard disk into MG-250HD. You can copy data from your PC to the built-in HDD of MG-250HD via USB. It is also possible to play media files from the hard disk on a TV set.

    2. “MG-250HD” – Switch the Video Output Mode: Press [TV OUT] button repeatedly. When you press [TV OUT], the video output signal is changed. 3. When you see normal video on screen, you then have to save video configuration of the MG-250HD by pressing the [Setup] button on the remote.

    3. Basic Setup 3.1 Video Setup This is a guide for setting up the video output of the MG-250HD. You have to setup the MG-250HD’s video output mode the same as the TV set's video input mode. The MG-250HD has auto-detection of a HDMI connection, so if you connect the MG-250HD to a TV by the HDMI connection, regardless of the video-output of the MG-250HD, you can still see the screen on a TV or a monitor.

    7.3 Playing DVD Files. The DVD manager function allows the playing of Ripped DVD Files in the same way as the original DVD. Make a folder and then copy all ripped files into the folder. After connecting to the TV (or Monitor), select VIDEO_TS.IFO file in the folder. Make sure that all the ripped files including VIDEO_TS.IFO from one single DVD title are located in one folder.

If the HDD is divided into two or more partitions, create a 'music' folder in the first partition.

    8. Firmware Upgrade Download an upgrade file from local distributor in your country or visit at www.airlinktek.com. Copy the Upgrade file to the Built-in HDD in your MG-250HD. After connecting to a TV set, browse to the upgrade file and press [OK]. The Upgrade procedure is then automatic.
