OPERATION
Fuel mixture preparation
For the preparation of the fuel mixture, petrol with an octane rating of no less than 92, and
special oil for two-stroke air-cooled engines shall be used. The recommended proportional
ratio of the petrol and fuel oil is 40:1, unless otherwise indicated on the label of the oil used.
Never use oil designed for 2-stroke water-cooled engines (boat motors).
Never use oil for 4-stroke engines. This can lead to the formation of carbon deposits on the
spark plug, contamination of the exhaust pipe outlet or damage to the piston rings.
For the preparation of the fuel mixture is recommended to use the capacity of the dispenser
supplied.
WARNING:
for petrol. Do not use food plastic containers. Never prepare the fuel
mixture directly in the fuel tank.
WARNING:
Carefully maintain the petrol/oil ratio. Never use clean petrol to refuel a
trimmer engine.
WARNING:
ventilated area, away from sources of ignition.
1.
Pour half of the petrol prepared for operation into the container.
2.
Add the required amount of engine oil.
3.
Close the tank lid tightly.
4.
Stir the fuel mixture thoroughly in the container.
5.
Slowly open the tank lid to release air and then add the remaining petrol.
6.
Close the container and shake well again.
WARNING:
30 days. During long-term storage, the fuel mixture oxidises, becomes
non-uniform and unsuitable for use.
