TROUBLESHOOTING

Malfunction
Engine does not
start
The engine is not
gaining
momentum.
Smoky exhaust from
the muffler.
Possible reason
The ignition switch is in the "off"
position.
Empty fuel tank or airlock in the
fuel line.
Lack of fuel in the carburettor.
Carburettor pours fuel due to
incorrect start order.
Old or improperly prepared fuel
mixture.
Spark plug dirty or defective.
Dirty air filter.
Clogged carburettor.
Dirty air filter.
Old or improperly prepared fuel
mixture.
The work tool of the product is
blocked by foreign objects.
Incorrectly prepared fuel
mixture.
Remedy
Turn the ignition switch to the "on"
position.
Pour fresh fuel mixture into the fuel
tank, bleed the fuel line with the
primer until fuel appears inside the
primer cap.
Fully push the manual primer cap
5-7 times.
Repeat the start-up procedure by
setting the carburettor choke
control lever to the open position. If
necessary, unscrew the spark plug
and dry it.
Drain the fuel mixture from the fuel
tank. Pour in fresh fuel mixture.
Clean or replace the spark plug.
Clean or replace the air filter.
Contact an authorised service
centre.
Clean or replace the air filter.
Drain the fuel mixture from the fuel
tank. Pour fresh fuel mixture.
Stop the engine and clean the work
tool.
Drain the fuel mixture from the tank.
Fill with fresh fuel mixture prepared
by the recommendations of the oil
manufacturer.
