4. Initial start-up
4.1 ESI[tronic] 2.0 software installation
1. Installing ESI[tronic] 2.0.
2. Licensing ESI[tronic] 2.0.

ESI[tronic] 2.0 licensing is performed by way of a
file or online. Information on licensing can be found
in the ESI[tronic] 2.0 Online Help.
4.2 Connection
1. Connect the KTS 525 to the power supply unit
included in the scope of delivery.
2. Connect the KTS 525 to a PC/Laptop via the USB
connecting cable.

The message New hardware found
the screen for a few seconds the first time the
KTS 525 is connected by way of the USB connecting
cable. This indicates that the USB connection to the
KTS 525 has been recognized.

The function of the DDC (Diagnostic Device
Configuration) software is to configure, activate and
test the KTS modules.
1. Start DDC ("Start >> (All programs) >> Bosch >>
Diagnostic Device Control").
2. Add the KTS module via "New".
