Sill panel mouldings

3.1 Removing and installing sill panel
mouldings
Note
Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side.
Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
3.1.1 Removing
Estate
– Fold bench seat forwards.
All vehicles
– Remove side padding:
♦ With rear side airbags
♦ with no rear side airbags
– Remove wheel housing trim
Note
For reasons of clarity, the front seat is not shown in the illustration.
– Remove the two bolts -1-.
– Pull out sill panel moulding -2- in area of front door from re‐
tainers in sill panel.
– Release sill panel moulding from mountings in front area of B-
pillar.
– Pull out sill panel moulding in area of rear door from retainers
in sill panel.
– Guide seat belt -3- through opening in sill panel moulding
-2-.
