♦ Torque wrench - V.A.G 1783-
♦ Removal wedge - 3409-
3.2 Removing and installing upper trim for
A-pillar
Note
Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side.
Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
Removing
– Remove airbag emblem -1- and remove bolt -2- (2 Nm).
– Pull trim in area of securing clips -3- inwards out of mountings
-arrow A-.
Note
For reasons of clarity, securing clips -3- are shown in their removed state in the illustration.
– Release trim from door seal beading -arrow B-.
– Pull out trim from front mounting in dash panel -arrow C-.
