Pin
Abbreviation
31
ILM
Current Limit Permit. Current is limited when this input
is ON. The value that current is limited to may come
from an internal drive source, IILM, or external inputs
PIL (CN1-18) and NIL (CN1-19) as determined by
Func1 bit 0.
32
PROT
Positive Rotation Overtravel. Counter clockwise
(CCW) overtravel limit. This input is used to indicate
that a travel limit has been reached in the CCW direction
of travel. When the input turns ON, a 120% current limit
is automatically applied, inhibiting commands in the
CCW direction.
This function may be canceled by setting UIF bit 4 to
"1," using the remote operator. This input may be
changed from a normally open to a normally closed
input by changing UIF bit 5 to "1."
UIF may be set using the remote Operator (Mode 0,

33
NROT
Negative Rotation Overtravel. Clockwise (CW)
overtravel limit. This input is used to indicate that a
travel limit has been reached in the CW direction of
travel. When the input turns ON, a 120% current limit is
automatically applied, inhibiting commands in the CW
direction.
This function may be canceled by setting UIF bit 3 to
"1," using the remote operator. This input may be
changed from a normally open to a normally closed
input by changing UIF bit 5 to "1."
UIF may be set using the remote Operator (Mode 0,
Page 10)
34
CLE
Clear Deviation Error. Turning ON this input for 10mS
or more will clear the contents of the position deviation
counter.
35/36
Pins 35 and 36 may each be assigned one of four
functions: PCON, PMUL ZCMD or INH. This selection
is set with Func3, bit 1 and bit 0. ECLR is not available
at this time.
PCON
Proportional Control On. With this input ON, the
velocity loop becomes proportional control.
PMUL
Pulse Multiplier. With this input ON, command pulses
are multiplied by the gear ratio set by the PMUL
parameter (mode 1, page 5)
INH
Inhibit. With input ON, incoming command pulses are
inhibited (position mode) or velocity command is
ZCMD
clamped to zero (velocity mode).
37
SON
Servo ON. Enables the amplifier, if there are no alarms.
