2.5.2 Configuring an M92x mobile terminal

Registering an M92x mobile terminal
A. Check that the mobile has not already been registered.
The cordless handset must not contain any "parasite" registrations (for example, from previous
use on another DECT system). In the standard case where the mobile is to be used on one
DECT system only, it must not be registered on any other base at the outset.
At startup, if the mobile displays:
it is not currently registered on any other base. Press the
and proceed to step 6 under paragraph B).
If the mobile displays:
it is already registered on at least one other base.

Any base numbers already in use are displayed. These numbers must be de-registered
on the mobile.
B. Register the mobile on a base

Enter the installer code 9995.

Press the Declare key
The display shows: "Declare base no. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8".

"Enter code" appears on the display
Enter the "set number + PBX registration code" and press OK
The set displays "Please Wait".
"Still waiting"
"Declare base OK" or "Failed, Retry"
Stop and restart the mobile, then check to see if it is active.
