configurations include version number, area configuration, network mask, Hello timer
interval, and Dead timer interval.

ripheral board and master main control board, or between slave main control board
and master main control board is interrupt.

Effect on the System
The board fails to communicate with the active main-control board, causing that the
services carried by the board are interrupted.
Possible Causes
1. The board is configured in the network management system but it is not inserted in
the rack.
2. The link between the board and the active main control board is faulty.
Handling Procedure
1. Check whether the correct board is inserted into the corresponding slot of the base
station.

If yes, go to step 2.
l
If no, replace it with a correct one.
2. The board's link is broken. Cold reset the board. If the alarm persists, go to step 3.
3. Replace the board.
