Alarm Property
l Alarm Code: 1002

Alarm Information: This alarm is reported when the board is configured in the network
management system but is not inserted in the actual slot.

Effect on the System
The board cannot bear any service.
Possible Causes
1. The board is configured in a slot on the Local Maintenance Terminal (LMT) but not
actually inserted in that slot.
2. The board is configured in a slot on the LMT but not tightly inserted in that slot.
3. The board is configured in a slot on the LMT but the connecting part is physically
damaged.
Handling Procedure
1. Check whether the board is inserted into the slot.

If yes, go to step 2.
l
If no, insert the board.
2. Pull out and plug the board into the slot. If the alarm persists, go to step 3.
3. Replace the shelf.
