Control the operating point by slowly opening the discharge-
side choke valve.
If no choke valve is installed on the discharge side, then the
operating point will set itself automatically in accordance with
the characteristic line for the system.
Proceed as follows if the motor protection switch switches off the
motor:
1.
Before switching on again, check whether the pump impeller
is rotating smoothly.
2.
Check whether the suction line and the pump housing are
filled with medium.
3.
Switch on the motor again.
If the pump pumps briefly and then the delivery flow stops, then the
solenoid coupling is overloaded and uncoupled. Proceed as
Ä Chapter 7 'Faults, Possible Causes, Rectification'
described in
on page 26 .
1.
Switch off the motor.
2.
Close the shut-off valves.
3.
If the medium remains in the system, then secure the fittings
from being opened accidentally.
